By downloading or using Hound-Up, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Hound-Up is a business management tool for solo dog walkers: scheduling, client and dog records, and invoicing. It works fully offline. iCloud sync and emailing invoices are optional features you can choose to use. Hound-Up is currently free, with no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or accounts.
You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter into the app, and for how you run your dog-walking business — including any legal, tax, insurance, or licensing obligations that apply to you.
You're also responsible for the personal data you enter about your clients and their dogs. You act as the data controller for that information — meaning it's on you to have an appropriate basis for holding it (for example, your clients' reasonable expectation that you'll keep records to run their bookings and invoice them) and to handle it appropriately. See the Privacy Policy for what the app itself does with that data.
Hound-Up doesn't process payments. Invoices generated in the app are for your records and for sending to your clients — how you and your clients actually settle payment (bank transfer, cash, etc.) happens entirely outside the app.
If you use the in-app "email invoice" feature, you're asking Hound-Up's backend to relay that specific email on your behalf, as described in the Privacy Policy. You're responsible for making sure the recipient address is correct and that you have a legitimate reason to email that person.
The app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. Optional features that depend on a backend (iCloud sync, emailing invoices) require an internet connection and depend on third-party services (Apple, Supabase, Resend) that Andy Vaughan doesn't control and can't guarantee the uptime of. Core scheduling and record-keeping work fully offline regardless.
To the extent permitted by law, Andy Vaughan isn't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app, including lost data, lost business, or errors in invoices you generate and send. Keep your own backups of anything critical to your business.
The app and these terms may change over time. Material changes to these terms will be reflected here with a new effective date.
You can stop using Hound-Up at any time by deleting the app. Andy Vaughan may discontinue the app or its optional backend features at any time.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
